Parkhouse Bell Training recognises that the needs of a manager are great and can sometimes be complex and overwhelming. Our management skills programmes provide the focus and inspiration to make management both productive and enjoyable once you recognise your own abilities and skills. Our management programmes are designed to help managers:
- identify different management styles, including their own, and recognise where each is most effective
- understand their role, as well as their team's role, in the structure of their organisation
- direct and motivate a team using effective communication and delegation, and demonstrate individual coaching and development techniques
- plan and control workload
- apply proven decision-making and problem-solving skills
Typical content includes:
- identifying each delegate's job responsibilities and areas for personal development
- managing tasks and people
- planning and prioritising to achieve business objectives
- leadership skills
- ensuring the team is effective
- communicating effectively with team members
- role playing, questionnaire analysis and group discussion to reinforce key learning points
Courses range between 2 and 5 days in duration
